Be ready for Friday: DELIVERY Books about MAY DAY, Kites, and Cinco de Mayo
MAY DAY Celebration is on Friday!
We will have Maypole dancing, kites, and Salvadorian Food in honor of Cinco de Mayo
Folk traditions abound for May Day, and in Europe, these usually involve flowers and often the coronation of a young girl with garlands to make her "Queen of the May". Such customs can be traced back to a Roman festival held at the end of April, in honour of Flora, the Goddess of Flowers and Bride of the West Wind. (read more here)
