Meagan’s Library at the High School

Happy Birthday, Meagan! The Stone House Library was dedicated twelve years ago today on March 16, 2005, in loving memory of Steiner student Meagan Margerum-Leys (1989-2004) on the date of her golden birthday.

Meagan was a beloved Steiner student who blessed
our community with her friendship, spirit and dreams.
Donations and support from Meagan's family and friends in the Steiner Community helped make her dream of a school library become a reality at the High School.

Meagan's Library is located in the charming
Stone House building at the High School.
The Stone House Library collection is available to students and faculty at the High School campus and contains books in a wondrous range of subjects and genres: from art and music to history and science, and classic literature to popular fiction.

The Stone House Library has over 500 books shelved
in a class study space with computer access.

More recent additions to the Stone House Library collection (in 2016) include a set of Waldorf Language Teaching resource books and a lovely donation of books from the Margerum-Leys Family.

Resources gathered by Nereida Nazzaro
especially for our World Languages teachers.
Books gifted by Meagan's parents
in celebration of her birthday last year.
