EARLY CHILD (E.C.) / PARENT LIBRARY (located now at Parent Spot at LS)
This school year (2019/20) we are starting
a brand new online self-checkout books
for parents and staff
through Parent Square.
This lovely collection of books and magazines, especially relevant for parents, is available to the community for self-checkout at the new Parent Spot (RSSAA Store). Here you'll find children's picture books along with resources on parenting, child development, and Waldorf education topics, including Waldorf Education, parenting, festivals, crafts, stories and songs.
THERE ARE 2 STEPS for SELF-CHECKING A PARENT LIBRARY BOOK OUT:
1. Fill the book white card (inside of each book) out with your name + child's name & grade and leave it inside of Return Book Basket (located on Parent Library shelf at Parent Spot);
2.a.: IF you DON'T HAVE a Library Digital ID yet, follow the steps: How to create your own Parent Library Account:
Go to: Parent Square ➡️ Explore ➡️ Links ➡️ Library Online Catalog ➡️ find a book (in Parent Library Collections) ➡️ click on "Parent Library First Time Checking Out" button (when you are checking out for the first time) ➡️ fill out the form and send.
We will create an ID Library Online Card for you and you will receive an email from Andrea Basso: abasso@steinerschool.org confirming your digital checkout was completed and you will receive your new Library ID for next time!
2.b.: IF you DO HAVE ALREADY a Library Digital ID, follow the steps: How to self-checkout once you have already a Library Digital ID:
Go to: Parent Square ➡️ Explore ➡️ Links ➡️ Library Online Catalog ➡️ find a Parent Library Book ➡️ click checkout button, add your Library Digital ID and confirm!
Voilà! Your are done ✅. You will receive an email confirming our self-checkout plus the book due date in your library account.

Do you know Parent Square has now a Public Library Group, for parents join and learn more about RSSAA Library for you kids?
Go to: Parent Square ➡️ Participate ➡️ Public Groups ➡️ RSSAA Library and join.
